PhD Richard J. Smith

Dr. Richard J. Smith is Professor Emeritus, University of Wisconsin, Madison and recipient of a Distinguished Teaching Award from that university. He is author or co-author of five college textbooks and various K-12 curriculum materials that contain his original poetry and short stories. In addition, he has published more than a hundred articles in professional journals for teachers and school administrators. At present he resides with his wife of sixty-three years at Westminster Retirement Community, Bradenton, Florida, where he is a featured writer for the community newspaper.
