David James Keaton

David James Keaton is the author of three collections of short stories, includingFish Bites Cop! Stories to Bash Authorities, which was named the 2013 Short Story Collection of the Year byThis Is Horror, andStealing Propeller Hats from the Dead, which received a Starred Review fromPublishers Weekly. He is also the author of three novels,The Last Projector(a thriller),Pig Iron(a western, which has been optioned for film), andShe Was Found in a Guitar Case(a mystery). He is the co-editor, along with Joe Clifford, ofHard Sentences: Crime Fiction Inspired by Alcatraz, and the editor ofDirty Boulevard: Crime Fiction Inspired by the Songs of Lou Reed.
