Catherine Meeks

Catherine Meeks, PhD,is the founder of Turquoiseand Lavender, an institute for transformation and healing. She is the former executive director of the AbsalomJones Center for Racial Healing and is the author ofsix books. She is the winner of the President Joseph R.Biden Lifetime Achievement Award. She holds a master’sdegree in social work from Clark Atlanta University anda PhD from Emory University. Dr. Meeks lives in Atlanta.
